Look up clinics in your area, or your local planned parenthood. The cost depends on the procedure. It can be from 300 to 700 dollars, depending on whether you’re sedated and other factors. Planned Parenthood can charge the minimum or refer you to funding that might be available.

Don’t let the lifers get to you. They seem to think they have the right to force their morality on a vulnerable young woman such as yourself.

Oh and abortion questions DO belong here because you have to be PREGNANT in order to get an abortion. DEAL WITH IT!

2 sides…

agree:
-prevents teens from having a baby and not being able to care for it (due to lack of funds, time etc.)
-a way to giveyou a second chance if you have made the mistake and didnt use protection.
-lets you return back to your normal life

disagree:
-well its considered murder in many countries..
-if you were even contmeplating on the though of having an abortion, did you really want that baby at all? how unfair?
-why should you decide whether that baby is going to live or die.. its not just "oh i dont feel like having this baby i’ll send it back and get a refund.." more like killing it but okay sure
-costs money

In reality, abortion is considered "normal", and people tend to agree with it, esp. since teen pregnancy is increasing at an alarming rate.
But when your in that position, its really up to you and YOUR beliefs, what you feel and what you think is right.
Don’t do somehting because other people are doing it.

First trimester abortions typically run $300-$500. Planned Parenthood and some other clinics may actually cut the cost so you only pay what you can afford or work out a payment plan with you. The procedure might also be provided at no cost since you're a minor. Your best bet would be to make an appointment to talk with someone.

Actually free. I had one done at 16 and initially I went into planned parenthood and had a prego test and it was confirmed then they you know were stating my options which I already knew I was going to get an abortion and directed me to the welfare office where they actually paid for the abortion to get done. My friend also had one done near the same time I did and she was also 16 and her boyfriend paid for it and i believe it was like almost 500. I was six weeks and she was seven weeks. We both had them done through planned parenthood. They were very nice and didnt seem to judge.

abortion is something that you can never take back there are so many emotioal phyical and mental aspects that will haunt you for a long time. your baby already has a heartbeat that started at 3 weeks. Abortion will not effect my vote. I am pro-choice, don't agree with McCain's pro-life stance at all. I also do not agree with Obama's support of partial birth abortion. But there are so many other issues that dominate this election. I will leave the decision to abort in the capable hands of women that find themselves in this situation, and vote based on the candidates positions on Iraq, the economy, healthcare, foreign policy.

In my opinion it should be irrelevant… Move on to other issues. I’m ProChoice, but I don’t think its that big of an issue, even with this president, abortion has remained safe and legal in all 50 states.

Here in Canada an abortion is free, but make sure that's what you want to go through with before you do it. It's a hard thing to deal with.
