If the procedure is outlawed should women who continue to have abortions be punished?
How should women who have illegal abortions be punished?
If women are not to be punished for illegal abortions how are they not responsible for allowing the abortion to be performed on their bodies?
If you are going to answer "abortions are legal" True but not an answer to the questions being asked then try to answer this: If abortion is to remain legal what is the most compelling and valid argument for doing so you can think of?

Legal basis for Philippine abortion ban
The act is criminalized by the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines, which was enacted in 1930 and remains in effect today. Articles 256, 258 and 259 of the Code mandate imprisonment for the woman who undergoes the abortion, as well as for any person who assists in the procedure, even if they be the woman’s parents, a physician or midwife. Article 258 further imposes a higher prison term on the woman or her parents if the abortion is undertaken "in order to conceal [the woman's] dishonor".

Besides there will always be wise women who do not need clinics to induce a miscarriage.
Murder is a legal definition, and murder requires that the death involve an individual with legal ‘personhood.’ Fetuses and embryos do not have legal ‘personhood.’ (If they did, every miscarriage would be counted in mortality rates, (and would have to be investigated legally by the coroner as an ‘unexpected death’) and every fetus would be counted in the census.)
Some of us believe that, for some people, in some situations, abortion is the better of two bad options. It’s not a "good thing" but sometimes it’s the better choice for the person most immediately involved … the pregnant woman.
Basically murder is a legal term, not a moral term.

I dont believ in abortion. i figure if u wanna go out n have sex then thats ur risk of being pregnant. but im trying to get my point out that its horrible.. and i know some people are probally liek ohh shut up its not a baby.. blah blah.. but i feel alot different about it.. it is a baby even from the begining..
but my question is.. in the state of ohio how far along do u have to be b4 they dont let you have one anymore.. ??
i heart breaking pics of babys like 8-12 weeks but id ont see many of then over that..

I think it is around 5 months. It is crazy how far you can go and abort.

Agree with their first point about illegal abortion rates increasing, since if abortion was illegal then ALL abortions would be illegal. If you made something illegal that is currently mostly legal, of course the number of illegal cases of it is going to increase!
You could then say something about it shouldn’t be legal just to make things safer for the women. You could make a comparison with drugs. It’d be like saying we should legalise drugs to make it safer for the drug users (it would, as then drugs would be regulated).
