Such as the pope and all the millions who fellow his idiotologies
Condoms prevent pregnancy and therefore eliminate the need for abortion. How can someone be against both these things while still being taken seriously be millions?
Catholics see sex as ONLY for procreation, therefore non-procreative sex is seen as wrong to them, which is why they are against contraceptives.

Because God’s ways are so much different from your logic and better I might add as well !!! God Bless –
ps. Condoms are only 83% effective if used correctly — not something I would want to gamble with, besides sex was made only for marriage !! — Blessings

There are people against use of condoms?
Why?

Because they believe sex is to create life, nothing more, nothing less. It’s not rocket science.

Because they believe the ‘first time’ should be when you are married in which case you wouldn’t need to wear a condom and probably wouldn’t get an abortion.

That is a question for Catholics. A priest who of course was not married once told me that the use of a condom is against the faith because it is external, same goes for the pill. Either at intercourse their is conception or not.

That’s easy. Those people think other people should just not be having sex if they are not intending to make babies.

He’s wrong, the use of condoms also cuts down on the spread of disease
From a moral standpoint his argument is outdated. I was raised in the Catholic church but jumped ship long ago . Like most churches they have become corrupted.

@ theone78 – sorry, but that’s just wrong. Used correctly, condoms are approximately 98% effective. You can look it up.

Abortion is the killing of an innocent child. It is an atrocity: a sin crying to Heaven for vengeance.
Condoms, or any other artificial contraception, prevent the conception of a child. It is also wrong, but for different reasons.
The two purposes of the sexual act in marriage (only) are unity and procreation. God has established the laws of procreation. Sex was designed (by God) to produce children. Those who interfere with this divine plan, are offending God. Therefore, anyone who deliberately, by any artificial means, separates the sexual act from the natural outcome (ie conception of a child), is committing a grave sin.
Creating embryos in a petri dish is also wrong, because the conception is separated from the sexual act. In artificial contraception, the sexual act is rendered null and void.
Condoms don’t prevent AIDS, either, as the rampant increase in condom-promoting countries (in Africa) proves. The countries where there is promotion of fidelity in marriage, and abstinence outside marriage, the AIDS rate is declining.

Simple: Sex has to make allowance for the Gift of Life (baby)
Truth is always simple ; sin is what complicates matters.
idiotologies ? cute… yet inaccurate : an idiot is a person who is undereducated and underdeveloped because of lack of exposure to global society and culture ; an idiot usually grows up intellectually unchallenged in his own world cutoff from the diversity of life ; the Pope is exceedingly intelligent, highly educated, most traveled and exposed to many cultures and challenges ; and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church do not fall in either the idiotic or the ideology bucket ; just because you disagree with these teachings you choose to implicitly call them idiotic ? Are you asking a question or are you venting steam ?

If sex were to be confined to the married life like God intended the question of sexually transmitted diseases would be very minimal. Should God permit condoms because we do not want to follow his rules. The condom becomes a good excuse to have sex with multiple partners and do away with the sacred vow of marriage. Same with abortion. We legalize it to protect women who were raped and underage, but these women make up less than 1% of abortions. Some say it should be legal because women are going to do it illegally anyway. I guess thats a good reason so we she let child molestation be legal to because there gonna do it anyway. Our greatest evil of the day is the degradation of life and the cheapening of the sexual act.

<<How can a person be against both abortion and condom use at the same time?>>
Both abortion and artificial contraception are affronts to the dignity of human life.
Neither abortion nor artificial birth control, used as a means to it’s intended end, are morally acceptable.
<<Such as the pope and all the millions who fellow his idiotologies>>
The pope follows God, as do the people who make up God’s Church.
<<Condoms prevent pregnancy and therefore eliminate the need for abortion.>>
Artificial birth control does not eliminate the need for abortion. If it did, why are so many aboritons taking place even while artificial birth control is so readily available?
Abstinence; abstinence eliminates the "need" for artificial birth control which, supposedly, eliminates the need for abortion.
The percentages alone prove that abstinence is the best way to prevent pregnancy. Abstinence is 100% guaranteed not to lead to pregnancy while artificial birth control bests at 70%.
Who in their right mind would consider a 70% option over a 100% option?
Abstinence prevents pregnancy. It never ceases to amaze me, mankind has been procreating via sex for hundreds of thousands of years. And yet, this allegedly enlightened generation is the first to have people who are surprised – even appalled – at the fact sex leads to pregnancy!
<<How can someone be against both these things while still being taken seriously be millions?>>
That’s a rather vain observation. It’s easy for "someone" not to care what "millions" think when "someone" knows he’s right.
