People will be united, but it won’t be for abortion. Palin is against abortion, but reading her views, she’s also a pragmatist & believes the choice should be left to the states – a strict constructionist – my kind of politician.

It’s sad that things have come to this pass, but in essence, the Supreme Court is a autonomous and unchallengable dictatorship on all things it surveys. No elected official will effect this issue. So unity of the masses and a candidate who tells you they are against abortion still won’t get us there. Sorry.

BAAA is damn right Abortion is stricly a states rights issue Roe vs Wade should never have been heard in the supreme court; isn’t it weird that the supreme court is the only govermental body without any for of checks and balences on it, no one can veto it and there not elected. Roe V Wade was in 1973 and Nixon was in the White House and since then we have had Ford, Reagan, Bush 1, and Bush 2. That is five Republican presidents and abortion is still legal. I don’t think Palin will have much to do to change that from her elected post in Alaska.

Abortions shouldnt be used as a form of birth control, BUT there are instances where I feel it is the only way. A good example if incest, Palin believes that if a child is raped by her father, she should keep the pregnancy going. Hummm what is the difference between the Taliban and Palin? Not much I say.
BTW Palin is too much of a hypocrite and too extreme. She wants to take sex ed out of the classrooms yet her own underage daughter is pregnant. Go figure. She is a greedy woman.
