I realise there are very strong opinions on both sides of the argument. The issue is not as political here in England as it is in the U.S. I believe in a woman’s right to choose. That right must not be taken away. I realise it is unfortunate. I don’t live in an ivory tower, I am aware of the reality. But if abortion were made illegal what then? It would be conducted in back street clinics where the mother could die due to botched procedure. Face the reality, abortion is sometimes necessary.
