Would God understand the need to execute women who contract for the abortions of their unborn children?

If abortion is murder and the penalty for murder is death then why shouldn’t women who abort their pregnancies be put to death. Or is that abortion isn’t really murder of the unborn or is that women aren’t capable like young children, or the profoundly mentally retarded, or the insane of being capable of rationally making decisions to end a pregnancy. Or is there some other purpose to ban abortions besides protecting the unborn. What about executing women who pay someone to abort their fetuses? Would God understand it Why Why not Does any of this make sense?

…Are you proposing that we kill those that sin, or get an abortion?

So you’re saying that any raped woman that becomes pregnant should either live her life with a constant reminder of her worst moment, or be killed? Teenagers? Victims of incest?

Despicable logic.

I don’t think God condones execution of anyone. Only He determines when your life is over and your chances to repent are likewise finished.

The mothers whose children are murdered in abortuaries are victims as much as their children. Put the killers in prison for life and the problem will be solved. No more dead babies, no more victimized women.

No you are not making sense…dare I say this question is "profoundly mentally retarded" or "insane". I guess then by your own theories you should be executed with all of us who choose to abort our unborn babies.

I think God has infinite resources of information, understanding and forgiveness; in God’s eyes, any flaw we have, any mistake we commit is part of what we are, and there cannot be any more expected from us. I also think God wouldn’t want any of us to be slaughtering our people, simply because of an ethical dispute.

You’ll have to wait til Judgement Day.. You are trying to judge people now for their sins.. It doesn’t work that way. Plus it’s not up to you to judge and decide people’s fate..

You’re kind of conflicting yourself. Murder is wrong, right? Well, how would it make it right if we put to death someone who got an abortion? God teaches us to act in nice and kind. How are we being Christ like when we murder others for their sins?

And there are many reasons why abortion should be banned other than protecting the unborn. Women suffer from post-abortion depression. It teaches people to not be responsible for their actions. It mocks the very sacred thing that created the baby. It mocks the sacred life as a whole. It lessens the importance of life.

If every life is precious, then taking her life would be just as wrong, if not even more so than that of a fetus. A fetus cannot live outside of the womb. After the point of where a fetus could survive outside of the womb without extraordinary assistance, then I think it is wrong to abort a fetus. You, by using your interpretations of God’s judgment, would also be in the wrong for making a decision that should only come from Him. Let her live and have her deal with Him and her own conscience regarding her decision.

By this logic you would also execute the person performing the procedure, so two additional lives would be lost after the fetus is aborted. A two for one special?

Let me use the Socratic method by asking you another question: Do you think a woman who premeditatively kills her BORN child should be given the death penalty? I think so. To me, there is NO DIFFERENCE between the born and the unborn child – it’s still the same child. The only difference is a few inches. Does that change the child’s species or humanity?
The only reason women aren’t punished for abortion today is because of Roe v. Wade (which is an unconstitutional court case, not the "law of the land"). It should be re-criminalized, and women who conspire to murder their own children and who hire hitmen (abortionists) to kill their defenseless babies should suffer the severest punishment, as well as the hitmen themselves.

Personally, I am against the death penalty (hence – pro-LIFE). If you are trying to refer to scripture… you are taking it out of context.

A woman who goes through an abortion – even if she has "chosen" it, suffers incredibly and will continue to suffer her entire life. Throwing her into prison or giving her a death sentence only causes greater suffering. It doesn’t fix anything – it doesn’t bring her child back and it doesn’t help her suffering that lead her to have an abortion to begin with.

Pro-Life doesn’t just mean putting an end to abortion. Pro-Life means helping ALL that it encompasses – which means helping the mother as well as the unborn child. Pro-Life protects all life from conception until NATURAL death.

There are organizations out there that help pregnant women financially, house them, get the counceling, give them classes on how to cope, find them jobs, get them good medical care, help them find a good adoptive parent if they want to consider that option… These programs are pro-LIFE because they help BOTH mother and child during and after pregnancy.

It is never right to kill a life – especially the most innocent.

<<Would God understand the need to execute women who contract for the abortions of their unborn children?>>

    No.

<<If abortion is murder and the penalty for murder is death then why shouldn’t women who abort their pregnancies be put to death.>>

Because many of these women are mislead to believe they are not terminating a life when they get an abortion. Truly almost all women who have had an abortion would not have done so if they knew they were killing a living human being.

Jesus not Jesus ask His Father to forgive those nailed Him to the Cross – as they were crucifying Him? He said, "Forgive them. They know not what they do." It’s the same for any woman who has been duped into getting an abortion, mostly because she was mislead to believe she wasn’t killing another human being, much less her own child.

There are a few women who will acknowledge that the unborn are alive, and still get an abortion. You have a case with women of this ilk.

<<Or is that abortion isn’t really murder of the unborn or is that women aren’t capable like young children, or the profoundly mentally retarded, or the insane of being capable of rationally making decisions to end a pregnancy.>>

The moral Law, as it pertains to abortion, is clear as a bell. There are no circumstances in which abortion can be considered the morally proper alternative because the unborn are not responsible for the circumstances surrounding their conception.

<<Or is there some other purpose to ban abortions besides protecting the unborn.>>

No, that’s it. Protecting the life and human dignity of the unborn is the primary impetus for the pro-life movement.

<<What about executing women who pay someone to abort their fetuses? Would God understand it Why Why not Does any of this make sense?>>

You want to put people to death because they put someone to death. Isn’t that evil begetting evil?
