Obama & Abortion / The Freedom of Choice Act / His Intentions Revealed / Pro-Life Video

Obama & Abortion / The So-Called Freedom of Choice Act Video. All text, images and video clips from Fair Use or the public domain. A year ago today, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) stood before Planned Parenthood (PP) and vowed that his first priority as president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). According to NARAL Pro-Choice America, FOCA would “codify Roe v. Wade into law and guarantee a woman’s right to choose in all 50 states.” On April 7, 2007, when Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) introduced the Act in Congress, they knew that it was far more than a government “guarantee” of abortion. If enacted, FOCA would obliterate hundreds of state laws that protect women, parents, children, and health care workers, while forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for millions of abortions. It would overturn commonsense laws like parental notification, conscience protections, abortion waiting periods, informed consent, and regulations for women’s health. In essence, FOCA would tilt the table for abortion. Obama’s support of FOCA hits particularly close to home among African-Americans, whose women and children have been preyed upon for decades by the eugenically minded Planned Parenthood. This connection has been pointed out again to the NAACP, who held their 99th annual conference with a sizeable pro-life presence. Together with Dr. Alveda King, niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., black leaders from across the country demonstrated at the convention where both presidential candidates spoke. The pro-life coalition is part of the growing movement of African-Americans who understand the “biggest struggle for civil rights today is for the rights of the unborn.” While the NAACP national leadership and Sen. Obama stubbornly champion the abortion industry, groups like Planned Parenthood are profiting from the disproportionate number of black pregnancies that end inside their walls. Given the devastating effect of abortion on one in every two black pregnancies, shouldn’t the NAACP be leading the charge against it? The promoters of the FOCA sometimes claim that its purpose is to “codify Roe v. Wade,” the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion on demand. But the key binding provisions of the bill would go further than Roe, invalidating all of the major types of pro-life laws that have been upheld by the Supreme Court in the decades since Roe. “The claim that the bill would ‘codify Roe’ is just a marketing gimmick by the proponents,” explained Johnson. “The sponsors hope that journalists and legislators will lazily accept that vague shorthand phrase — but it is very misleading. The references to Roe in the bill are in non-binding, discursive clauses. The heart of the bill is a ban that would nullify all of the major types of pro-life laws that the Supreme Court has said are permissible under Roe v. Wade, including the ban on partial-birth abortions and bans on government funding of abortion.” The bill flatly invalidates any “statute, ordinance, regulation, administrative order, decision, policy, practice, or other action” of any federal, state, or local government or governmental official (or any person acting under government authority) that would “deny or interfere with a woman’s right to choose” abortion, or that would “discriminate against the exercise of the right . . . in the regulation or provision of benefits, facilities, services, or information.” This no-restriction policy would establish, in Senator Boxer’s words, “the absolute right to choose” prior to fetal “viability.” The no-restriction policy would also apply after “viability” to any abortion sought on grounds of “health.”

I’d say a tyrant of a nation deserves death far more than a thief does. His crimes and their effect are much more far-reaching, at their minimum levels.

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”John Adams

R u the dumbest person alive??? Ur worried about over population??? u would choose species of animals over helpless infants? U have the same mentality as the Nazis did. There agenda…get rid of all those who seem insignificant, who don’t matter. I see those stupid save the polar bear commercials I want to throw up.

  5. Bloodninjapirate says:

    No, if you think …
No, if you think that people do not have a moral right to protect themselves (to the point of killing their attackers) from harm, you’re incapable of recognizing evil. It’s morally wrong to kill the unborn for the sake of convenience, but it’s also morally wrong to pretend that people aren’t justified in protecting themselves from harm.

  6. ihateneveen says:

    no, because that’s …
no, because that’s what we are doing in Iraq and people are foaming at the mouth about it, yet we don’t think it’s wrong to kill an innocent baby, who has done nothing wrong except be conceived. Because of that IM NOT CAPABLE of recognizing evil?? That makes sense.

  7. Bloodninjapirate says:

    Actually, killing …
Actually, killing in self-defense or defense of innocents is pretty morally correct. I don’t know what sort of morals you subscribe to, but if something like that is wrong to you, it would seem that you’re incapable of recognizing evil.

    I think your being …
I think your being a small bit closed minded here. Yes there are a lot of pro lifers who are angry and shout insults. There are also many like myself who thinks the last thing a woman needs after an abortion is to be judged. I am an athiest and 100% pro life. I have friends who’ve had abortions and although i dont agree with it i cant judge them. What upsets me is when docs tell women its a blob of cells at 12 weeks and later after the abortion they learn what it really was. That cuts women up.

  9. angelshoulders says:

    tony…How can you …
tony…How can you forgive someone who has no regret,no remorse? I forgive them in my heart, but they need to apologize & truly feel some grief. That is what it is called to have a conscience! When you feel remorse you also make ammends. They ‘GIVE BACK’!

  10. angelshoulders says:

Please ladies if you’ve had an abortion, the people who call you baby killers and murderers NOW want you to help them?!? They can forgive women who have had abortions, if they work for them, so why can’t they forgive ALL women who have had abortions? What total hypocrites!

  12. tonypeters69 says:

    angelbritches – …
angelbritches – abortion will bring about the extinction of the human species?!? LOL In case you haven’t noticed human overpopulation is bringing about extinctions of other species all over the planet. We will kill our selves that way, just like yeast eating sugar and producing alcohol, drowning in our own excrement. btw In america right now for everyone that dies 1.7 are born. Are you confused about everything?

    bush killed …
bush killed terrorist and peole who seeked to annhilate our country because that it what is POLITICALLY CORRECT! Isn’ that what you pro-choices claim? ” don’t push your morality do what is politcally correct” well MORALLY killing people in war is not correct, but as a commanderr-in-chief, doing w/ever it takes to protect an nation is POLITICALLY corrrect.

  16. ihateneveen says:

    You know, people …
You know, people like you make me change my mind about abortion. I now agree with it. Too bad your mom didn’t have one!

  17. ihateneveen says:

    yes i am stupid …
yes i am stupid because i don’ think women should get away with murdering chilkdren simply because they don’t want to take responsibility for themselves. when i make that comment i mean to say that it is bullshit when people say ” you are forcing a woman to have a child the don’t want” NO i didn’t force you to do shit, YOU decided to make the child, so now take care of your responsibilites! now i know that in some cases that is not true.. but i am referring to the ones that are

  18. angelshoulders says:

    Please ladies.If …
Please ladies. If you have had an abortion, speak up to save others from having to go through the same grief you have experienced. You can save them &their babies,be brave&courageous,we need you,the mothers need you,the babies need your voice! You speak from 1st hand experience, they will listen to you.

  19. angelshoulders says:

    If birthmothers …
If birthmothers were aware that when placing for adoption, they would receive assistance during pregnancy and they can select the family that they place their child with. Birthmothers and couples can choose a plan that works for them.
“1% of the? Helpline’s annual 40,000 clients inquire about adoption.”

  20. angelshoulders says:

    tony..Understand …
tony..Understand this. You get laid in order to procreate. Now I understand their adolescent minds do not fathom the fact that yearning for sex is evolutions way of insuring procreation. However, may their mind ingest this. The end result of unfettered abortion& your get a life and get laid attitude will be the extinction of the human species. This is precisely why abortion must be fettered. One can only imagine this conversation if your mother bore your same attitude toward (your)life and abortion

  21. angelshoulders says:

    tony..This is not …
tony..This is not about the money. This is about human life being slaughtered! This is about human rights.Sometimes I wonder how we can condemn those that commit human rights violations in the middle east/ East Asia/Africa, when we take 1,000s of innocent lives everyday

  22. angelshoulders says:

    What of the poor …
What of the poor person from a 3rd-World country wanted to sell herself to me.I would pay several $ to her family,my slave would come live in my home&work for me&be taken care of for the rest of her life. You have a problem with that?Well I don’t want to hear about it,because,as you said, people should “make up their own minds.”Against slavery?Don’t own a slave!
America was a country whose initial purpose was to speak out for those with no voice.

ihateveen sez – if a woman did not want to have a child, she should have kept her legs closed. It’s that simple. hahahaha

    That’s brilliant.

If you didn’t want people to know how stupid you are you should have kept your mouth closed. YOU’RE THAT SIMPLE!

  25. tonypeters69 says:

    Anyone who is upset …
Anyone who is upset with the US helping to pay for health services for women in other countries (including abortions). You can withhold $1 from your federal taxes, that will more than cover YOUR cost.
