Partial-Birth Abortion Procedure With Real Instruments – Pro-Life Anti-Abortion Video

Partial-Birth Abortion Procedure Using The Real Instruments. Excerpt of presentation by Dr. William Lile. More information on the video can be found at http://www.dyinglight.com. It is, essentially, a variant of the even more common and equally gruesome Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) procedure. There are in fact absolutely no obstetrical situations encountered in this country which require a partially delivered human fetus to be destroyed to preserve the life or health of the mother (Dr. Pamela Smith, Senate Hearing Record, p.82: Partial Birth Abortion Ban Medical Testimony). People like Jill Stanek have exposed a practice, in which children marked for abortion are born alive and then killed. This is exactly where the logic of partial-birth abortion leads. On November 5, 2003, President George W. Bush signed into law the Partial-birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003. On April 18, 2007 the Supreme Court announced its decision to uphold the ban on partial-birth abortion. The procedure in question is properly called “partial-birth abortion” because, as even secular sources acknowledge, it requires the doctor to deliver the unborn child partially from the uterus, feet first, leaving the baby’s head inside the womb. The doctor then uses scissors and a hollow needle to empty the skull of its contents. The unborn baby’s head then collapses and the doctor removes the dead baby entirely from the mother’s body. Given the nature of the procedure, the congressmen who drafted legislation to prohibit it, the “Partial-Birth Abortion Act of 1995″, defined the procedure as follows: “an abortion in which the person performing the abortion partially vaginally delivers a living fetus before killing the fetus and completing the delivery”. The doctors who perform this barbaric act and those who seek to justify it attempt to hide its nature by describing it euphemistically as “intact dilation and evacuation/extraction” or as “intrauterine cranial decompression. “Physicians Ad Hoc Coalition for Truth” (PHACT), a group of more than 300 medical specialists organized to counter the misinformation provided by the abortion industry of the United States, pointed out: “Partial-birth abortion is never medically necessary to protect the health of a woman or to protect her future fertility; in fact, the procedure can pose grave dangers to the woman”. Many people argue that the anesthetics used in the process kill the baby, so death to the child is painless. However the American Society of Anesthesiologists testified to Congress that this is simply not true. On July 11, 1995, American Medical News (AMA’s official journal) submitted the transcript of a tape-recorded interview with abortionist Dr. Martin Haskell to the House Judiciary Committee in which he admitted: “…the majority of fetuses aborted this way (partial birth abortion) are alive until the end of the procedure.” As disturbing as this sounds, these are the facts. In this country medical doctors are partially delivering babies and then killing them. These babies are inches from being born. Many could be born and placed directly in the loving arms of childless couples for adoption. Instead, they are cruelly killed.

Are there ANY good arguments for abortion, at all?

Posted by admin on November 17th, 2009 and filed under abortion arguments | 25 Comments »

OK, I have been trying to think of ONE good argument for abortion, and keep coming up empty. Maybe someone here can help me out. Of course, all of the following arguments assume the woman was not raped, and that her life is not being threatened by having the baby. However, I have seen statistics showing that rape victims are only 1% of all abortions, so ending 99% of abortions would be OK with me.

1.A woman should be able to do what she wants with her body.
-Of COURSE she should! No one is telling her not to get plastic surgery, or a tattoo. However, once she decides to have sex, and get pregnant, she has ANOTHER body growing inside of her. It is no longer her body, it is her child’s body, and she should not be able to end its life any more than a mother can kill her 3 year old.

2. People are going to do it anyway, so we might as well make it legal, and safe.
-Well, people smoke crack, and it’s illegal. People rape, people murder, people steal, and those are all illegal. Should we legalize all of those, too?

3. These are new times. Making abortion illegal brings us back to a time where women had no rights.
-Wrong. Abortion gives a woman MORE rights than a man. She has the right to kill the child, whether the man agrees or not. In order for us to be equal, men should also be allowed to abort the baby, even if against the mother’s wishes. This, of course, is absurd, and so is the argument.

4. You can’t force them to be pregnant if they don’t want to be.
-Please. If you don’t want to get pregnant, don’t have sex. I think even animals have figured this one out, but yet humans just can’t slip their mind around it. Do women just think that a “baby fairy” makes them pregnant? I may not know everything, but I know it is VERY hard to get pregnant without having sex.

I’m not close-minded, and I have changed my mind on many subjects. I may even change my mind on this one, if I could ever hear a good argument. But none so far. So, are there ANY good arguments for abortion?

I am neither pro-life or pro choice. I think abortion is morally wrong, but support an exception for the mother’s life, of course.

I find arguments that these babies will be unwanted anyway to be horrific. Many people in society are unwanted, and we don’t advocate terminating them.

I say, if a fetus is viable, take it out and give it what it needs to live.

The only argument I can see for legalized abortion of non-viable fetuses is that our society is not prepared to do what would be necessary to fully enforce the law, and should not do so. What happens if a law is passed making abortion murder, and a woman announces that she will leave the state (or the country) to have an abortion? Wouldn’t we have to lock her up in preventive detention so she doesn’t do it? We wouldn’t let any other prospective murderer out of our sight, or out of police custody, if they announced a specific plan to kill.

So I think we need to educate people and change minds, but I can’t see how it can be illegal in all cases.

My logic may be flawed, but I took a shot.

PS The argument that a fertilized egg is not human is laughable on its face. A mere "clump of cells" will not grow into you or me. A fertilized egg has all the genetic information to make it a distinct human being. Modern science teaches this, even though the embryo looks nothing like a human – it’s microscopic.

I get a chuckle out of many of the same folks making these ridiculous arguments saying that the religious right "ignores science."

Who else thinks Abortion should only be allowed in cases of rape and incest or health problems?

Posted by admin on November 17th, 2009 and filed under abortion | 7 Comments »

1.37 million Abortion’s are performed each year in the U.S alone only 1% of all abortion’s occur due to rape and incest, 6% occur because of health problems with either the mother or baby & 93% occur for social reason’s such as not wanting the baby or inconvenience don’t you think it is time to start lowering the numbers of Abortions?

It hurts. I am only 13 and I know 2 people who are in my grade who have had abortions. I could never be friends with them. In my mind, whenever I look at them I see a tiny baby that will never live. They are murderers to me. Abortion is murder unless there are health problems, although I could understand someones decision to abort a baby after being raped, but I think that the rapist should get the punishment, not the innocent baby.

I need facts on abortion.?

Posted by admin on November 17th, 2009 and filed under abortion facts | 1 Comment »

I am doing a persuasive essay on abortion. I don’t want opinions, I just need facts. I have looked all over the internet and I have only found things on specific abortions, not all of them. You can share your own knowledge with me. Or link me to a site that tells what all of the abortions are and how they are done.

You can look at or contact planned parenthood. Not sure what you mean by "what all the abortions are". The most common methods of abortion in the first trimester are the suction & curettage (a vacuum is applied through a wand and the contents of the uterus are suctioned & scrapped out). Some places do a chemical abortion with the administration of a chemical that expels any tissue. Search under first trimester abortion for more info.

Don’t you think that if Palin is elected that everyone will be united against Abortion?

Won’t it be an historical Moment when the first WHITE woman against abortion becomes president. Won’t it be a testiment that America is comming around to being for white pro-life woman and an historical moment?
She could do so much to bring people together to help the unborn don’t you think? Will america’s attitude change overnight if she is elected to the president in the future?

Lets just thank God that that air head did not win last month. I could just see her giving a shout out or mentioning hockey mom’s during the state of the Union address or disrespecting a foreign leader over some stupid reason only she is known to believe. She is in no way prepared to be our President

What are the current Federal abortion laws?

Does the federal government put any limits on abortion?

In the US case of Wade v Roe it was held that women have a constitutional right to acess abortion. They did not however ban restrictions on partial birth abortions.

So in the US abortion is legal in every state, but many states have valid laws banning partial birth abortions,

Abortion: current laws and statistics?

Posted by admin on November 17th, 2009 and filed under abortion statistics | 1 Comment »

What are the current abortion laws in the United States of America?
What are some statistics about abortion? (how many per day, week, month year)
Finally, in your opinion, do you think abortion is wrong? Do you think abortion is murder? Why or why not.

I am pro-choice and I think pro-lifers are some of the most hateful, hypocritical, sinful and evil people in this country. They are the holier than though a$$holes who think they can detemine/dictate what others should do with their bodies and lives.

And to your question on statistic, I doubt anyone on here is going to give you an accurate statistic. It is either overblown or false. Abortion is legal in all 50 states. Partial birth abortions are illegal.

What percent of women regret their abortions?

I am doing a paper on abortion and was wondering how many women regret having abortions does anyone know? My paper is due soon! Thanx for your help!

Look it up.

I don’t know a statistic, but I’ve read reputable studies that state most women feel relief after an abortion.

Pro-Life Song & Video (Anti-Abortion)

I wrote this song when I was 16. Now that I am older, married, and pregnant with our first child I have been moved and inspired to record it and finally get it out to the public. I have always been Pro-Life, but having this tiny miracle growing inside me has really made an impact on my heart, and I am convinced that if most people knew the truth about their unborn baby and the horror of abortions and how they are performed, they wouldnt think twice about letting their baby live.

The baby at the end is my neice and I love her so much.

if you couldn’t read what the words said here it is:
Month one

Mommy
I am only 8 inches long
but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
Every time I hear it
I wave my arms and legs.
The sound of your heart beat
is my favorite lullaby.

Month Two

Mommy
today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me
you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I’m not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.

Month Three

You know what Mommy
I’m a boy!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don’t like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too
and I cry with you even though
you can’t hear me.

Month Four

Mommy
my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine
but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes
and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.

Month Five

You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I’m not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel.
Mommy, what’s abortion?

Month Six

I can hear that doctor again.
I don’t like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it? It burns!
Please make him stop!
I can’t get away from it!
Mommy! HELP me!

Month Seven

Mommy
I am okay.
I am in Jesus’s arms.
He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn’t you want me Mommy?

Every Abortion Is Just . . .

One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.
